3D creation: characters, assets and digital sculpting
3D Creations
Here, the object takes centre stage. No film shot, no campaign, just 3D creation for what it is: a character, an asset, an environment, modelled, sculpted and textured down to the last detail. This page mostly brings together personal creations, free of any production constraints, where I push material, form and finish as far as I want to. It's the area where my craft gets judged most rigorously.
Free creation isn't a hobby on the side of the job, it's what feeds it. A personal sculpt lets me explore an anatomy, a material treatment or a graphic style that I'll later bring back into a production. It's also the best way to judge a 3D artist: on a personal piece, every choice is theirs alone, from concept to final render.
That same rigour applies to direct commissions too. I designed part of the clothing worn by EMMA, the 3D character of a language-learning app: a stylised, expressive avatar built for real-time use on mobile, which demands precise optimisation without sacrificing visual quality. A brand character, a game asset, a model for augmented reality or a figure ready for 3D printing: if it needs to exist in three dimensions, I can create it.
The projects shown below each detail my exact role: what I modelled, textured or rigged, and in what production context. A transparent way of showing not just the finished result, but the part I played in it.
